This is my Watching Me, Watching You Project. The purpose of this piece is to convey the chain events that occur in the underground graffiti culture. The piece is supposed to look like a wall that has been tagged over numerous times. Politics are motivators in the graffiti culture, whether it is governmental or sect oriented. There is constant watching involved. Crews watch eachother, the cops watch them, crews watch the cops, and the public sees politically influenced art, which inheritantly makes the public watch and thus question politics. |
